Land a UAE Full-Stack Developer job · 2026 stack

Why

Get hired as a full-stack developer in the UAE within ~2 months by becoming genuinely employable on the stack that UAE employers are hiring for right now: Python + FastAPI, Postgres + RAG, React + Next.js, and a bit of DevOps. The outcome that matters: a portfolio project I can demo and talk through in an interview, plus the confidence to apply (with referrals) and pass the technical round.

Success looks like

I can build and explain a REST API in FastAPI backed by Postgres.
I can build a Next.js frontend that talks to my API end-to-end.
I have one deployed capstone project with an AI/RAG feature (document Q&A) live on the internet, with a clean GitHub repo and README.
I can answer common UAE full-stack interview questions and whiteboard the stack.
I have started applying to UAE roles using referrals.

Constraints

~3–4 hours/day, target runway 6–8 weeks (mid-June → early August 2026).
Coming from a PHP / jQuery / a-bit-of-React background — strong on web fundamentals (HTTP, server-rendering, DOM), new to Python and the modern stack.
Wants the path to be concise and in strict order — minimum theory, maximum "build a thing I can show an interviewer."

Out of scope (for now)

Deep computer-science / DSA grinding beyond light daily practice.
Mobile (React Native), Django (we focus on FastAPI per the target stack).
Kubernetes / heavy DevOps — only the "bit of DevOps" needed to deploy.
Multiple side projects — we build one capstone, threaded through every week.
